As a Paraprofessional I oversee students from Kinder through 6th grade in common areas to monitor, maintain academic progress, and support with variations of teaching strategies in each classroom. From monitoring each student's progress in one-on-one and small group assistance in various subjects where accommodations are required in general education. Weekly, I assists instructional preparation in materials, constructed bulletin boards, and set up work areas through the collaboration's support from various certified teachers of different grade levels. A key responsiblity in my role is in overlooking variations of lesson plans for students who need stregthning in literacy skills and in mathematics.
