Summary

I am focused on engaging and including all students in my care using differentiated, open entry styled assignments that allow student choice. I have practiced a Project Based Learning style with my Junior grade students, predominately grade 5 and 6.

I aim to lessen any triggers or stressors in the learning environment in order to lower the anxiety of students, especially students with behavioral exceptionalities for more effective learning.

I have mentored teacher candidates in best practices as an Associate Teacher for the University of Windsor, Faculty of Education.
