- As a ski instructor I've had the opportunity to work with kids of all ages and experiences. I developed the ability to access levels of skills and teach my lessons accordingly. I have worked one-on-one in private lessons throughout the season and in big groups during March Break Day Camps. I also gained skills in communicating with parents, who are often actively involved in their child's ski improvement or anxious for their safety. The ability to assure and explain plans patiently and professionally comes naturally. Overall my main goal is to create an environment where kids feel safe and have the opportunity to get outside and have fun.

- My family has created a 6-day overnight for newcomer children in which I play an active role in organizing the camp schedule, coordinating logistics, and ensuring that all activities are well-structured and aligned with the camp’s goals. My focus is on creating a fun and inclusive environment where campers can connect with one another while ensuring everything runs smoothly. I was also working within the cabins as a cabin leader, and I loved the opportunity to connect to the youth on a more personal level. As many of the campers are new to Canada and do not speak English, I ensured that they have an engaging and enjoyable experience. My ability to balance organization with fostering a fun atmosphere allows me to make meaningful contributions to the success of the camp.
