  • Responsible for coordinating international maritime shipments from origin to their final destinations according to agreed Incoterms for packaged goods. (import process).
  • Manage product flow, tracking and following up of shipments to ensure effective movement of goods to minimize costing / avoiding waste of resources.
  • Responsible for costing imported goods / cost accuracy.
  • Manage all transactions related to Quadra's 3PL for Quebec & the Maritimes (Inbound & outbound), including inventory receipts, transfers between branches, expeditions to final customers, for bulk and package goods (depending origin warehouse/type of product handling) to ensure inventory accuracy).
  • Procure transport services for products shipped from 3PL, always looking for the best cost efficient way to deliver to customers.

  • Responsible for creating all required documents to export products going to the US and Brazil. Prepare Truck and Ocean bookings.
  • Manage freight requests in a timely manner (procure quotes from multiple carriers) and choose the most suitable cost-effective way to move products according to customer's requirements.
  • Negotiate freight rate for trucking shipments (spot quotes for rush orders).
  • Prepare paperwork for orders sent by courier internationally (i.e. data loggers, samples, etc.)
  • Maintain a KPI for the logistics team, for the current year working on ON-time receiving and Inventory accuracy on Canada's 3PLs.
  • Responsible for managing correct billing for a pool of carriers (this includes to verify supplier invoices, confirming rates billed corresponds to company rate agreements; deal with disputes, invoices rejections, rebills, etc.). Maintain continuous communication with carriers and monthly meetings to discuss issues and ways to improve inefficiencies.
