  • Monitor and administer flight crew schedules on a daily basis, and ensure all flights are properly crewed, using the CrewTrac system.
  • Give proper guidance to the crew schedulers for their daily duties. Crew Schedulers liaise with the Lead Crew Schedulers during irregular operations to ensure the most efficient operation possible.
  • Coordinate with crew schedulers to ensure all the flights for the current period are covered with a safe and legal crew.
  • Monitor all operating pilots' schedules, and make sure they are legal to complete their duties. Follow the Canadian Aviation Regulation.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Operations Manager (COM) to provide information, plan, and execute recovery for crewing issues, to minimize flight delays, cancellations, and extra sections for smooth operation.
  • Report the incidents, accidents, errors, and safety hazards/issues to the on-call manager, and file the SMS reports.
  • Attend the daily meeting with all department managers, and present accurate daily reports.
  • Review all regional shift reports, and make sure all the events have been mentioned before submitting the reports. Ensure all emails have been reviewed and responded to.
