As a Facilities Team Member, I ensured the cleanliness, functionality, and overall upkeep of the church building and grounds, creating a welcoming and safe environment for congregants and staff. My role included:

• Facility Maintenance: Performed routine cleaning, minor repairs, and general upkeep to maintain a well-functioning space for services and events.
• Event Setup and Support: Assisted with preparing spaces for worship services, community events, and meetings by arranging seating, setting up equipment, and ensuring a smooth experience for attendees.
• Safety and Security: Monitored building conditions, followed safety protocols, and ensured compliance with church policies to protect visitors and staff.
• Groundskeeping: Maintained outdoor areas, including landscaping, walkway clearing, and general exterior upkeep to enhance the church’s appearance.

This role strengthened my problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while contributing to a mission-driven environment.

As a dedicated volunteer leader for the 5th and 6th grade ministry, I supported the spiritual, social, and personal growth of pre-teens through weekly mentorship and engaging group activities. My role included:

• Mentorship: Provided consistent support and guidance to students, helping them navigate faith, friendships, and personal challenges.
• Camp Leader: Served at youth camps, overseeing cabin groups, leading discussions, and ensuring a safe, fun, and meaningful experience.
• Games and Activities Crew: Organized and facilitated weekly games and sports activities to build teamwork, promote physical activity, and encourage inclusion.
• Event Support: Helped plan and execute special events and outreach opportunities to strengthen community and ministry impact.

This role deepened my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while allowing me to make a lasting impact in the lives of young students.
