I’m currently a college student at Cedarville University in Ohio, studying education with the goal of becoming a high school teacher—and possibly a principal one day. I have extensive experience serving in my church’s youth ministry, where I’ve developed a strong passion for working with and mentoring young people.
For the past several years, I’ve served as a youth leader for 5th and 6th graders, where I’ve had the opportunity to mentor students, lead small group discussions, and build meaningful relationships that help guide their spiritual and personal growth. I’ve also served as a camp leader, helping create memorable, impactful experiences for students, and been part of the Games & Activities Crew, planning and running fun, engaging games that promote teamwork and inclusion.
In addition, I volunteered for four years in my church’s Awana program, supporting biblical learning and character development in younger children. These experiences have solidified my passion for youth mentorship and inspired me to pursue a career in education where I can continue investing in the next generation.
As a Facilities Team Member, I ensured the cleanliness, functionality, and overall upkeep of the church building and grounds, creating a welcoming and safe environment for congregants and staff. My role included:
This role strengthened my problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while contributing to a mission-driven environment.
As a dedicated volunteer leader for the 5th and 6th grade ministry, I supported the spiritual, social, and personal growth of pre-teens through weekly mentorship and engaging group activities. My role included:
This role deepened my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while allowing me to make a lasting impact in the lives of young students.
