Volunteer Experience

  • Relay For life: Head of Community Outreach. As Head of Community Outreach for Relay for Life, I spearheaded initiatives to engage and mobilize the community, organizing events and partnerships that contributed to raising over $100,000 for cancer research.
  • Job Shadow Program| Carleton University: I participated in a comprehensive job shadow program, providing the opportunity to observe and engage with a practicing lawyer. I developed a deeper understanding of legal principles and practices, as well as the daily responsibilities and challenges faced by legal professionals.
  • Innocence Project | Program Member: I compose compelling emails and correspondence to raise awareness about wrongful convictions, highlighting the urgency of each case and the profound impact on the lives of the accused.
  • MADA Volunteer: I coordinated food, clothing and household items for disadvantaged individuals and families.
  • Student Leadership Injury Prevention Program (SLIPP): I was the leader of the "drunk driving" committee. I educated peers and classmates about the risks of drunk driving. My committee created posters and workshops to convey our message.
  • Cummings Centre - LEDA (Leadership,Education,Development,Education): I was in charge of the charity "Meals on Wheels" where I bagged groceries for underprivileged elderly and delivered them weekly.
