· Assist immigrants in Halifax to integrate more quickly into the local environment, such as teaching Halifax culture and English grammar.

· Counting the number of immigrants in the classroom, assigning daily tasks to the immigrants, and supporting the teacher in managing the classroom.

· Follow up with the teacher on a variety of tasks to ensure that the immigrants are able to complete the day's tasks.
