Ev Charger: Assisted handyman in the installation of teslas Ev chargers, in residential settings. Residential conduit: Assisted in Running 1/2" conduit and 3/4" RMC conduit, for exterior use, as well as running conduit for solar panels, to roof.
Troubleshooting electrical problems in commerical and residential settings: Assisted Handyman with electrical repairs in commercial settings, installing parking lot lights, ability to use to voltameter to diagnose electrical problems.
Basic Wiring: Assisting in diagnosing and fixing minor electrical issues, like flickering lights, breaker trip, and other handyman needs.
General Handyman Repairs:
Assisting journeymen in installment of: Working with flush strut, installing cable trays under tilt trays, running 3/4" Ridgid & EMT conduit under and above tilt trays. Running Data Cable, 12 & 10 AWG wire. Installment of Receiver & Transmitter sensors, Banner Photo Eyes, and I/O Blocks.
Keeping A Clean Work Space : Cleaned work area on a daily basis to ensure an organized and clean work environment to easily find tools or material as needed. Ensuring to have all materials staged and organized behind barricade tape to prevent trip hazards and keep the aisles clear in warehouse.
Assisting journeyman : Assisted in wiring transformers, helped run 300 MCM THHN and 600 MCM THHN. Using tugger to pull large gauge wire through 3.5-inch/4-inch ridgid conduit. Running 3-inch tight seal from 3 phase transformer to panel box.
Operating Aerial Work Platforms: Operating a scissor lift to reach an outdoor electrical junction box. Operating boom lift with cable puller sheave to guide 600MCM through 4-inch conduit.
Assisting Licensed Journeyman Electricians: Assisted in the installation of conduit raceways, assembled lay in wire gutters, and installation of 3/4 quarter EMT conduit to , all the way until 1-1/2 EMT conduit installation. Assisted in the installation of trapezes to hold conduit gutters in place. Anchored and mounted down transformers. Installed flexible non-metallic liquid tight conduit to transformers. As well as the ability to 30 - 90 degree 3/4 quarter EMT conduit bends
Pulling wire and splicing wire: Assisted in the installation of Mc cable, pulling 10 gauge-wire, pulling 600 MCM wire, as well as pulling and splicing 500 MCM KcMil wire.
Ability to use tools: Used bandsaw to cut Emt conduit, ability to use heavy duty hand held pipe threading machine conduit threader to make threads on large conduit. Ability to operate and use scissors lift, and the ability to use conduit bender.
Perform Labor: Ability to help electricians with large installations, of transformers, and panel boxes, as well the ability to dig underground trenches to cut, and run PVC conduit to transformers, sizes of 3inch underground, as well ass using PVC cement to glue.
Basic Electrical Knowledge: A solid understanding of electrical principles, including voltage, current, resistance, and the functioning of different electrical components and systems
Wiring and Cabling: Assisting in running conduit pipes including , Emt, Lmc, running PVC This includes understanding wires gauges, and proper techniques for splicing wires
Marking and Labeling: Using heat-shrink tubing, self-laminating vinyl labels, and wire markers to ensure clean and organized presentable work for easy future identification, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with electricians, supervisors, and other team members
Proficiency with Tools: Skilled in using essential electrical tools such as wire strippers, multimeters, pliers, screwdrivers, power drills, conduit bender, bandsaw, hammer drill, grinder, and pipe threader
