Worked to load in equipment, patch fixtures, and set up the performance space, while working with the director and the creative team in order to construct a unique lighting design for the show. Utilized traditional fixtures already present in the space, as well as various rented equipment.

Organized and participated in the cutting, cleaning, and preparation of various metal types, subsequently utilizing MIG welding in order to create set pieces and custom projects using building plans. Practiced shop safety and proper understanding of the equipment.

Installed, circuited, and patched various traditional and LED moving fixtures, using lighting plots. Engaged in the maintenance and repair of outdated or broken equipment and performed all tasks in accordance with proper safety regulations.

Helped to select and load in rented equipment for the production as well as set up and utilize the lights already present. Programmed a unique sequence of lighting cues and worked to find and buy necessary equipment throughout the course of the tech week.
