  • Practice Leader for 68 CRNAs
  • Liaison between UCSF CRNAs, MD faculty, nurses, and support staff
  • Formulated monthly CRNA schedule using Qgenda
  • Manage all CRNA PTO/ leave assuring staffing requirements are met
  • Formulated annual CRNA performance evaluations
  • On-boarding of all new CRNAs including reviewing resumes, interviewing, decision to hire, and facilitating orientation upon hire.
  • Conflict management involving CRNAs and other UCSF staff
  • Organizing and facilitating CRNA staff meetings to maintain open communication, and allow for continuous Quality Improvement.
  • Collaboration with the Director of Advanced Practice Providers to assure visibility and inclusion of CRNAs throughout the Health System, including being the first CRNA member of the APP advisory board.
  • Participated in important UCSF Department of Anesthesia and UCSF Medical Center meetings including Joint Clinical Services, Quality Improvement, Committee of Interdisciplinary Practice, Perioperative Pathways Core Workgroup, and AHP advisory board meetings
  • Collaborated with Samuel Merritt University to facilitate clinical rotations for Nurse Anesthesia Residents, in addition to serving as UCSF's first Clinical Coordinator for the University.
  • Formulated the first CRNA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee at UCSF, which provided resources and support for under-represented and minority staff.
  • Formulated annual Incentive Award Program goals for the CRNA group
  • Provided mentorship for ICU RNs in preparation for CRNA program application, as well as for potential candidates/applicants.
  • Management of a large group of medical professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic.
