Summary

I am LEI, most people prefer to call me Daniel much easier pronunciation whatever it does matter.

I was born in Northern Part of China. I came to the United States 8 years ago myself landed off Seattle, WA. But firstly i live in Dallas, TX because of my boss later on we became best friends. So i am extremely lucky and appreciate my boss's and her husband Ralph Isenberg helped me a lot even today i have a good life in San Jose,CA. After that time, I like to try different things then i go to LA, New York, Florida experience American life and culture then finally i settled down in San Jose ,CA in 2020 with my family. I worked a lot when i was here at that time no extra time go to school. In 2024, i go to West Valley College study Orthopedic Technician also my fist time in school. At the beginning, i am not sure whether this program good for me or not but finally i completed all the courses thanks to West Valley College great instructors help and step by step advise as well as giving my confidence. My next goal is continue to study some courses in order to get MA degree in WVC for my further career preparation.

1. Establish and maintain a supportive and trusting relationship with clients, including but not limited to regular assigned clients.
2. Respect the client’s right to privacy and maintain confidentiality of information obtained in after school programs.
3. Provide continuous supervision to help minimize health, safety, and other risks to the well-being of clients.
4. Learn Person-Center methods, and provide flexibility options for classes, activities, and social interactions during the program. Encourage clients to express themselves, and offer them choices.
5. Learn and implements adaptive skills training curriculum. Assists participants in meeting their ISP goals and objectives.
6. Learn and practice ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) and other behavior management techniques to support clients’ behaviors needs.
7. Learn and practice CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) and keep everyone safe.
8. Learn and perform First Aid and CPR, and other emergency services (i.e. evacuation during a fire, earthquakes, seizures, etc.) as appropriate.
9. Transport assigned client using insured vehicle as need.
10. Attend staff meetings and training. Parent check-in meetings, ISPs, etc, as assigned. Some meetings are scheduled during weekends, usually 1-2 hours per month.
11. Provide appropriate care, supervision, and support that the clients need and to protect client’s hygiene, safety,independence, social skill, and respect. Clients’ needs may include feeding, lifting/transferring, bowel, menses and bladder care, ambulation and personal hygiene.
12. Documents participant’s Daily Progress Report, and other data collections. Prepare monthly check-in reports, special incident reports, semi-annual/annual ISP reports, and other reports as necessary.
13. Communicate with parents in a professional manner.
14. Supporting the assigned client in public settings, and facilitate the client’s interactions with the public in a professional manner. Maintain an organized, safe and clean environment.

Warehouse Management

Manage inventory and ordering restaurant products supplies from local suppliers. Check daily inventory make sure store supply enough. Communicate with store manager, front house and kitchen manager in order to reduce the store supply purchase cost on both raw food and all other kinds of supplies. Communicate with local suppliers also including group branch office and central warehouse in LA. Checking and receiving daily Invoices from supplier and central warehouse.
Complete monthly store inventory and put all data from System. Purchase outside from local market when necessary.
During peak season help front house as Server. Provide best dining restaurant experience to customers.
Opening and closing in the store based on different Shifts requirements.
