Summary

Through my academic career at Carleton University, I have gained extensive knowledge in the programming language Python as well as in the object-oriented programming languages Java and C++. This knowledge allowed me to develop analytical and innovative thinking to apply newfound tools and methods such as data structures to solve various challenging problems and to think outside the box. Moreover, I gained extensive knowledge in managing datasets through database management systems and applying SQL querying to manipulate relational datasets. This knowledge translated into my current job at Infrastructure Canada, where I gained extensive experience managing and manipulating datasets using Oracle SQL developer and Oracle Data Integrator on onsite servers, as well as Azure Synapse, Data Factory, DevOps, and Azure Storage Explorer on the cloud. My experience with Azure Synapse also involved creating bash scripts in combination with pipelines containing various activities that run on specific schedules to ensure data backup on time. Moreover, I gained experience in modifying pipelines with Data Flows to manipulate data using certain conditions.
