My career goal is to specialize in gynecology and women's health, and I have pursued this goal by initially focusing on Labor and Delivery. During my studies and recent nursing career, I gained valuable experience in preparing patients for surgical procedures, particularly C-sections, while also providing education and support. Additionally, I have been involved in various aspects of maternal care, including assisting in vaginal births, postpartum care, and facilitating the transfer of mother and baby to the postpartum unit. Post-graduation, I have been dedicated to directly working with gynecology, surgical patients and as of recent obstetrical care. Such is demonstrated through providing comprehensive care from preoperative preparations to post-discharge. Following patients through labour to postpartum vaginally and via cesarean section. I take pride in consistently building strong connections with patients and their families through empathetic communication and a respectful approach through their stay with us at our facility. Personally I hold great importance to actively developing my knowledge and growth through courses, readings and direct patient care.
