  • The first two years of my employment were spent primarily in millwork, they included such duties as working the rip saw cutting orders from stock lists and working routers to produce stiles and cross pieces for doors and drawers
  • Laminating lumber for door panels, and prep sanding
  • The next two years were spent learning to process case goods some of which included beam saw cross cut saw and panel saw applications
  • Cutting and ordering stock lists for all cabinet carcass materials and working with such products as melamine arborite and wood veneers
  • I have training in drill, dowel and edgebanding machinery I also received some paint and lacquer training at this time which including spray application and paint finishing techniques
  • After these formative years I was then introduced to the design and assembly of finished product
  • These duties included the construction of base wall and vanity cabinets, drawer assembly, melamine steel and dovetail
  • The processing and completing of cabinet listing sheets
  • Custom cabinetry such as bars hoodfan covers and finished veneer tops
  • I also received exclusive training in custom parts breakout primarily converting design plans from Imperial to Metric size for CNC and beam saw applications
  • In recent years my focus has shifted to hardware planning and application I have an extensive knowledge of products from such manufacturers as Blum Hettich Mepla and Rev-a-shelf I also provide instruction on system 32 and Blum dynalog applications for CNC operations.
