As a full time member of the administrative assistant team at the Holy Cross and Tom Baker site, I was responsible for many time sensitive tasks. I answered multi-line phone system, routing calls, delivering messages to staff and greeting visitors.

I am responsible for document organization with thorough file maintenance, archiving outdated records with Iron Mountain as necessary.
I've been fortunate to be invited to collaborate on special projects and contributed by taking on a medical office assistance role for a virtual research clinic, the Integrative Oncology clinic (IO).
I collaborate with the provincial Drug Access Coordination (DAC) team by organizing regular meetings to focus on a supportive environment. I meet with patient support programs to discuss new supportive care medications and I work closely with nurses, oncologist and community pharmacies to ensure that patients have access to costly medications in a timely manner.
I am self-driven, I can handle stressful situations with empathy. I am proficient in Microsoft office, Zoom, preparing meeting agendas and minutes. I created, manage and maintain the laryngectomy consignment inventory and assist patients on ordering supplies within the Alberta aids to daily living/ Alberta Blue Cross portal.
