  • Delivered effective safety debriefings to guests to promote safe behavior while walking in very densely populated grizzly bear country.
  • Guided groups of up to 15 people on scheduled tours.
  • Established positive relationships with co guides and guests through fun and engaging conversation, games and more during and outside of tours.
  • Prepared for adventure tour trips by preparing and fueling boats, preparing food, planning routes, knowing weather, carrying a properly supplied first aid kit, getting guests back to the lodge.
  • Problem solving and thinking on the spot when unexpected things occur, such as grizzly bears being on beach and we need to find different route to boat, boats breaking down, trucks/busses breaking down, roads blocked/sink holes, etc.
