In this role, I have served as laboratory instructor in all courses of the program, as well as the professor for both vascular sonography courses. The Basics of Vascular Sonography course is offered early in the program and the Advanced Vascular Sonography course, which I designed, is offered during the final semester.

• Assisted full-time faculty in developing new courses or revising existing ones based on student feedback and emerging trends in the field.
• Contributed to program development by participating in curriculum review committees and accreditation processes.
• Enhanced student comprehension by incorporating real-world examples and case studies in lectures.

As Clinical Coordinator, I established and maintained positive relationships with preceptors and Diagnostic Imaging managers at our contracted clinical sites, enhancing their perception of both our students and the Merced College DMS program.

• Conducted diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in accurate patient assessments.
• Collaborated with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care and timely imaging results.
• Educated patients on examination processes, easing anxiety levels and fostering a positive experience.
• Stayed up-to-date with industry advancements through continued education opportunities, enhancing professional knowledge and skills in the field of diagnostic medical sonography.
• Managed inventory of supplies within the ultrasound department, ordering replacements when needed to avoid shortages or delays in service provision.
