- I ensure that the HCA Students, HCA Instructors and HCA Practice Education site have a clear understanding of the learning outcome, total length/hours of the practice experience
- Confirm placement dates in advance so students have open availability, set the expectations for behavior and performance, including attendance tracking, and how to report a concern
- Review the handbook with the students outlining dress requirements, responsibilities of all involved parties, ensure open lines of communication and clarity of roles and responsibilities
