Ran electricity & magnetism lab sessions, and helped students troubleshoot during their experiments. Taught the use of equipment like multimeters & power sources as well as basic circuit analysis. Also responsible for grading lab reports and some exams.
Autonomous Electric Remote Control Car, Electrical Systems Integration Project
Developed a program with a team to automate an electrical RC car with a Jetson NANO to dodge blockades and turn corners. Gained experience in automation, VESC programming, Linux programming, and an understanding of Electric Brushless DC motors.
Embedded Spatial Measurement System
Worked on a team to mount a time-of-flight sensor on a rotating motor programmed to pause periodically and collect spatial measurements to be serially communicated to a microcontroller, and then a PC. A python program was developed to generate a graphical representation of the measured space. The system was triggered by a push button circuit connected to the microcontroller.
Wilkinson Power Divider
Used a Smith chart and the AWR design software to design and simulate a power divider for a radio frequency transmission system. Paid close attention to detail when physically constructing the power divider, while taking precise measurements to increase the accuracy of the device. Used a soldering iron to aid in the physical construction of the device.
