Over 30 years of experience working in a variety of settings including live-in and out-patient treatment, academic, outreach, hospital and vocational settings. Creative and versatile clinician with a solid understanding and approach to addressing mental health, addiction and victimization.
Genuine compassion, advocacy and understanding to the needs of the individuals receiving services.
Experience working in a supervisory capacity.
Active member of both internal and external professional committees, including Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and Indigenous Culture sub-committee.
Demonstrated leadership in team building and program development.
Strong knowledge of and relationships with a wide variety of community resources across Ontario.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient at entering information into client database systems (ie: Catalyst, CAREnotes, BestNotes).
Values working in an evidenced-based practice both independently and within a team.
Active in the continued learning process by attending workshops and other learning opportunities.
