Spent twelve years with Apple and held multiple roles with Apple at the Vintage Faire Mall location.
Beginning as a part-time sales specialist, I was promoted three times during my career with Apple.
My first year was in sales.
Then, I spent two years in technical support as the Genius Admin, managing the Genius repair room, ensuring parts were ordered and stocked as needed, and supporting iPhone and Mac OS troubleshooting and repairs.
Nine of the twelve years have been in operations.
The last position I held was the role of Operations Lead.
I provided training and guidance on all inventory management and control processes and activities.
Analyzed, identified, and reported to the management team inventory trends to limit shrink.
Utilized SAP and RIO data management software for tracking assets and inventory movement and allocations.
Ensured the store complied with all operations and inventory management policies and procedures and collaborated with all store personnel to promote understanding of how each team contributes to operational excellence and efficient inventory control-coordinated and scheduled third-party vendors to maintain store facilities.
I performed monthly health and safety audits-coordinated loss prevention training and analysis with store management.
I managed the planning and execution of all visual merchandising.
Ensured all in-store use electronics were functional and running the correct software and OS.
I was also responsible for floor management.
I supervised and supported sales, tech support, and in-store training sessions.
In addition, I helped with store-level training and coaching across each all-store department-performed opening and closing duties and all cash-handling responsibilities.
I spent two years as a New Store Opening Operations Mentor and supported new openings and relocations.
Duties included decommissioning and returning all property from an existing store and setting up and shipping any donated property.
Receiving and setting up all-new equipment, preparing the new store's stock room, and confirming it complies with Apple brand and operational standards.
In addition, I led a team of six to ten people to make sure the inventory assets were available to meet the business needs of the existing store and concurrently ensure the new store was set up within a limited timetable for a seamless transition.
