Additional Information

  • Received a promotion at the age of seventeen to become a server within one year working as a host while at Coco’s Bakery ( One had to be 18 years old to serve alcohol as a server )
  • Receive a promotion to become Shift Manager within 3 months of working at Rose Cafe Received multiple Raise’s at Rose Cafe while never asking for one
  • Within One Month of working at Orange County Mattress they wanted me in sales. I was hired as a “Writer” to assist the salesmen finish up the sale process to free up their time so they can help another person. ( Confession: I did not want to go into sales at first because my goal was not to be there very long. This decision cost me a lot of money in the long run. But in my heart, I did not want the company to entrust me with my own store and lose out on the possibility of training another candidate who would be there long term. Even though it cost me money, I can rest at night knowing I was looking out for their best interest) As a writer ( who possessed sales skills ) I was very blessed to work with two of the best salesmen in the company. I learned fast and mimicked their script, body language, and tone of voice.
  • Out of all the writers hired in that period, I was placed in their #1 store—Corona del Mar. After a year, I asked to be transferred to their busiest store—Huntington Beach. While at Huntington beach, the Salesmen and I hit record numbers for the company. We averaged $20,000 a day when we worked and increased store volume by $100,000 to $200,000. To put it into perspective, A great salesman can keep an average of $7,000 a day. The reason why we were able to accomplish such amazing numbers, in my opinion, is that we had great chemistry and worked extremely well together as a team. We both knew our functions and played our strengths. On top of my role as a “writer”, I would also sell beside him, but I also knew when it was the right time to jump in and sell and when to stay back and let him do his presentation. We had consistent communication despite having 6-8 customers in the store at once and we would close them all.
  • As a salesman at Orange County Mattress, I sold at almost every store and excelled at the San Clemente store. One of their Top 5 locations. ( I mention every store because every store has its own culture in a sense. Customers coming into Huntington beach will likely be more laid-back and want a more friendly local environment compared to selling in Irvine where a customer would likely be analytical. Knowing who you are selling to is vital to build rapport )
  • While running the Los Alamitos location, I surpassed the store goal with a 50% closing ratio while the company average is 33%.
  • In real estate I brought in clients who have purchased in Laguna Beach ( $1.4 Mil), Newport Coast ( $2.598 Mil ), Newport Beach ( $2.36 Mil ), on top of sells in Irvine, and surrounding areas.
  • 5 Star Yelp Reviews From Orange County Mattress
  • Kristin H., San Clemente: “Lance and Christina are fantastic…” Tina F,
  • San Clemente: “Lance is a very helpful and personable salesperson…”
  • Lauren P, San Clemente, “I don’t have a bad thing to say about this place!! Lance was the most AMAZING sales man ever! No pressure from him to buy….He is incredibly knowledgeable and just a really great guy….[we] had some terrible experiences in the past…Lance made the experience a pleasure!”
  • Doug G, San Clemente, “Lance and Christina were both very helpful…”
  • Jerry M, Aliso Viejo, “Lance did a fabulous job showing us different options. No pressure on the sale, just honest feedback on the choices.”
  • At Mr. Cooper I had an average of an 80% funding rate and above average credit pull. Exceptional reviews from homeowners after closing Numerous compliments and calls to management about my service
  • Promoted within Six months, top 5 of the hiring class
  • Graduating with a B.S. in Psychology August 2023
  • Launch my dream passion company to do ministry work.
  • Recently built a fresh water well in India

Surfing, Hiking, Working Out

I began my surfing journey after graduating high school. I had purchased a board from a class mate. This board was not beginner friendly and was quite advanced. For two years I failed at surfing, not even being able to stand up on the board. At times I would walk out of the water frustrated promising to never surf again only to be back in the water the next day. Surfing taught me a valuable lesson: to never give up. The joy of surfing 10 foot swells in Southern California outweighs the trials and pains of learning.

I fell in love with Hiking. One day I looked up at the T.V. and the Travel channel was playing a documentary of people hiking the Appalachian Mountains. I fell in love with the idea of being present with nature. I got my brother and friends into hiking and we began taking trips. I have completed the Ray Lakes Loop trail twice, consisting of 40 miles and a peak at 12,000 elevation as well as Catalina Island. Hiking is beautiful yet can be boring on the trail. Steps become monotonous, tired from the continuous miles, and with the heavy backpack one can find themselves staring at the ground as they march onward. Hiking has taught me that I can accomplish anything if I take one step at a time, but also to enjoy the journey. Life is one big hiking trip yet we can find ourself staring at the ground completely unaware of the beauty that surround us.

My daily passion is working out. This is something to enjoy and is great to meet people and bond with old friends. Working out is not only healthy, but it has also taught me to be constant in life.
