Investigated the effectiveness of inhibiting P-glycoprotein to allow for the use of chemotherapy on
chemotherapeutic resistant ependymomas, and the ability to induce apoptosis.
Novel Hepatocellular Carcinoma treatment using RNA transfection of mutant cytosine
deaminase - 2019 SciNapse
Research and proposed the use of an experimental treatment that involves the deamination of cytosine to
uracil in tumors, which is cytotoxic in mammalian cells and induces apoptosis. To achieve this, mutated
cytosine deaminase-coding gene codA from E. coli would be used and its RNA synthesized to infiltrate
hepatocytes to induce apoptosis.

Investigated if there is a correlation between substance use, specifically e-cigarettes, alcohol and
marijuana, in Canadian adolescents between grades 9 to 12 residing in rural locations compared to
Canadian adolescents between grades 9 to 12 residing in urban locations.
