Oversee the acquisition, retention, and cultivation campaign strategies for San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance’s mass market donors, monthly giving sustainers, and membership base of approximately 400,000 individuals. These initiatives generate over $57MM annually through various direct marketing channels.
More than doubled the annual revenue of SDZWA’s membership program from $26MM to $54MM through increased member cultivation, continued product enhancements, and new innovative omnichannel marketing tactics for acquisition, renewal, and upgrading. This was achieved while keeping expenses flat and improving ROI.
Expanded SDZWA’s monthly donor program from 175 to over 10,000 sustainers through the creation of an onsite face-to-face fundraising program, innovative digital solutions, and robust donor communications. This omnichannel strategy increased annual revenue for the program from $250k to over $3MM annually.
Led and mentored a team of over 14, including frontline fundraisers for our onsite face-to-face fundraising program.
Increased usage of digital technology and reduced membership direct mail from 8MM to 3.5MM pieces annually.
Assisted with the 2021 rebranding of SDZWA’s membership program including the launch of new member levels, rollout of enhanced benefits, and a redesign of over 2,000 pieces of membership collateral and digital assets.
Assisted with the migration of membership digital advertising campaigns from cookie-based functionality to leveraging a Core ID model that now allows us to target messaging by individual rather than by device.
Manages multiple enterprise software systems, large scale databases and backend configuration to generate queries, mailing lists, business reports and visualizations.
