Clinical Nurse 1 in a high acuity SICU and CVICU with frequent exposure and experience with:

• Inotropic and vasoactive medications
• Ventilated patients
• Advanced Monitoring systems; PA catheter pressures, Cerebell monitors, bispectral index monitor
• Intra-aortic Balloon pump management
• Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy
• Impella CP, RP and 5.5
• V-V and V-A ECMO management and assistance with cannulation
• Frequent collaboration with our intensivist and multidisciplinary team
• Orient and precept new to the ICU nurses, as well as, new graduate nurses to the ICU, to help ensure a level of competence and safety in all new staff

• Respond to various medical and traumatic emergencies to provide rapid assessment, treatment, and transport
• Was responsible for training and orientation of new hires.
• Responded to local and national deployments to various natural disasters ranging from hurricanes to wildfires to assist in an EMS system and/or provide ground medical support in base hospitals.

• Managed up to 60 employees at a time including scheduling shifts and breaks, assigning register tills, and handling technical issues that arose
• Was in charge of member satisfaction at the service desk
• Received specialty training in managing our Point of Sale Machines including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, trained and oriented new cashiers, as well as, service desk employees.
