My work on the farm involved

• Caring for majority of the equipment repair and maintenance, this was anything from simple oil changes and greasing to engine repair and other more complex repairs.
• Welding and fabricating, I had to learn to weld on the farm to preform various repairs on equipment, or upgrades to things on the farm like grain bins. which also involved some light fabrication work.
• Equipment operator, I have experience operating heavy machinery like combines, tractors, sprayers, backhoes, knuckle boom cranes, manlifts, and a little bit of experience with class 1 truck and trailers. but I do not have my class 1 but I would be open to the idea of getting it.
• Landscaping, I looked after the property, like cutting the grass, removing trees, trimming bushes, and upgrades to the looks of the property.
• Painter, I painted his house for him and did some touch ups in his house.
• Construction, we built a 4 car garage over the winter, this involved preparing the ground for the foundation, building walls, laying trusses, and doing the sheet metal for the roof and the interior.
• In short I was his jack of all trades, and did whatever he needed or wanted done for that day.

my responsibilities involved maintaining a clean work environment, cutting whatever lumber they needed for what was being built, assembling and placing walls.
