As an Assistant Manager, I am responsible for aiding my direct reports in achieving their sales targets. This is completed through various coaching activities completed on a regular basis through each week. I am also expected to help with a number of things around the branch to help our team succeed. Some of them include helping drive our customer experience with our Pulse results and coaching our customer representatives in making sure our customers are taken care of in a quick and efficient manor.
As a Branch Manager I oversaw all the operations of the branch and was ultimately responsible for the team's success. I worked closely with my Management team to make sure we had strong coaching processes with our adivors. Ultimately, we were striving to increase the branches sales year over year with our main focus on customer experience.
As the Branch Manager of Langley, I was expected to do alot of the same things as at Maple Ridge only it was a bigger team. This meant that there were more staff to coach our processes to, bigger sales targets to achieve and more customers to build strong relationships with. In addition to the Branch Manager role, I was apart of the Senior Leadership team. We were expected to be leaders in our district when it came to helping drive our numbers. This was done through our sales contributions as well as helping lead district calls and meetings to help drive ideas that will help move the dial in certain areas.
As a Small Business Advisor I was responsible for growing the branches book of business. I was able to achieve this by maintaining a strong relationship with our existing customers as well as marketing myself to local professionals. I was able to build a network in the Dental community that earned me the trust of many local dentists. This helped me achieve a Best of the Best victory in the district for 2016.
As a Personal Banking Officer, I was expected to contribute to the branches sales targets by achieving and exceeding my own goals. I was able to achieve this by having many advise based conversations with our customers through various meetings. Ultimately, focusing on long term planning and creating both borrowing and investment strategies.
I enjoy spending time with wife and kids, whether it is going out for dinner, going on a family vacation or just playing road hockey outside.
I spend time coaching my son's H1 ice hockey team and get great joy out of watching how fast the kids develop their skills.
I also still play Men's league ice hockey with a team I have been with for 6 years now.
