• Google Fi Product Counsel: Serving as sole product counsel for Google Fi Wireless, providing legal leadership on product, regulatory, privacy, consumer protection, competition, marketing and partnerships aspects of wireless carrier business. Closely coordinating with XFN teams on high impact strategic changes, regulatory responses and litigation strategy in a highly dynamic environment.
• Google Fi and Google Store Commercial Counsel: Lead commercial counsel for strategic partnerships involving Google Fi and Google Store business, coordinating complex contracting and negotiations in highly regulated contexts across three continents. Delivering creative, win-win solutions and strengthening partner relationships and trust on aggressive timelines.

Hybrid product & commercial counsel for Nest & Pixel (05/2022-01/2024).

• Nest and Pixel Commercial Counsel: Served as primary commercial counsel for all Nest energy services related workstreams (e.g., Rush Hour Rewards programs and partners, Nest Renew B2C offering), in addition to hardware sales, distribution and strategic partnership contracts for Nest and Pixel teams. Led commercial negotiations for spin-out of energy services business to strategic partner in H2 2023.
• Energy Services Product Counsel: Sole energy services product counsel (01/2023-01/2024), advising on product, regulatory, privacy, consumer protection, marketing, and other aspects of product development, marketing, partnerships and spin-out of B2B and B2C energy services. Provided practical and business-minded advice on strategic endeavors, trade group participation and energy industry leadership initiatives. Managed clients and OC on regulatory affairs in high impact markets (e.g., CA and TX).
• Social Impact Leader: Responsible for counseling, diligence and commercial work for high profile social impact projects. Created templates and processes used across product areas to streamline device giveaways. Co-lead of Alphabet DE&I coalition and steering committee member of Legal Summer Institute.

Commercial counsel in Devices & Services Organization

• Nest Hardware and Energy Services Integration. Served as primary legal POC for Nest's post-acquisition commercial integration work, including bespoke drafting and negotiation for Google's energy demand response service, Rush Hour Rewards, as well as hardware sales agreements with retailers, industry professionals and distributors.
• Sales and Distribution. Supported Nest and Pixel sales and business development teams with practical and proactive legal advice, collaborative but strategic negotiation and process improvements to streamline compliance and increase sales velocity.
• COVID-19 Response. Led numerous social impact legal workstreams on a global scale, in coordination with business, nonprofit and community partners and Google's philanthropic arm (Google.org).

• Commercial Contracts: Drafted and negotiated a variety of complex commercial contracts (e.g., strategic alliance and JV agreements, manufacturing and supply agreements, bespoke SaaS and IP license agreements, sales, distribution and white label agreements) to achieve optimum outcomes for clients.
• IP: Collaborated with clients to craft intellectual property strategies tailored to their business and risk profile. Analyzed and assisted with trademark applications, advised on online IP best practices (e.g., copyright notices and fair use).
• M&A: Conducted and coordinated commercial and IP diligence, negotiated IP related reps and warranties, disclosure schedules and related workstreams.
• Pro Bono/Litigation: Represented client in a (successful) asylum application and proceedings. Drafted and filed amicus briefs for Oxfam America in 4th Circuit, 9th Circuit and SCOTUS.
