I grew up in a logging family, working in the woods every summer w/Wylatti resource Management. The company slowly transitioned away from logging and into road construction, so I parted ways and tried to work with another logging company(Moreno Enterprises) but they had to lay the majority of their crew off due to lack of work, so I went back into construction with M.B.C and liked the crew I worked with and enjoyed most of the work we did, but the pay wasn't great. After a full season with M.B.C I was invited to return for the next season, but Wylatti offered me a prevailing wage position so I returned to work for them the next year. The pay is great but the last year was very inconsistent with work and the season was very short. I'm trying to find a career that is year round work with room for advancement. Seasonal work just isn't cutting it with children and paying for a house.
