Performed brake inspections, replace and service brake components as required per safety standards.
Computer diagnostic experience. Familiar with Cummins Insite, Navistar Engine Diagnostics, Wabco Toolbox, Allison Transmission, Gas engine scanning devices (Snap-On)
Familiar with electrical systems, diagnosing electrical problems and repairing as required. Experience with batteries, starters and electronic components.
Familiar with steering, suspension, brake components. Replacing and servicing as required.
Experience with bodywork, repainting school buses. Rebuilt entire back ends of buses, change panels, reshape or repair damaged or rusted components. Rebuilt floor sections and floor bracing as required. Rebuilt interior flooring, steps and changed seats.
Performed oil changes, grease jobs, undercoating experience
Experience working on and replacing diesel and gas engine components. Diagnosis of failed or defective engine parts. Familiar with torque specs and proper installation techniques.
Mount + balance tires as required (All vehicle sizes)
Learned proper and safe use and maintenance of power tools, hand tools and safety equipment.
Familiar with aftertreatment and exhaust systems, (DEF, DPF, DOC, SCR) systems. Repair, service and replace components as required

Service call & road call experience. Would fix buses offsite as required.
