Monitoring plant diversity in natural disturbances and managed stands, to evaluate the timber harvesting impact on plant communities (2006-2009). Oil and Gas AAC impact mitigation pilot project. Treating backlogged NSR to offset oil and gas AAC impacts (2006-2009). Developed and implemented an operation trial to evaluate alternative oil and gas reclamation strategies for the Oil and Gas Commission (2003-2004). Developed and managed a research project investigating alternative oil and gas reclamation strategies for the Oil and Gas Commission (2003-2004). Assisted in writing a report and the mitigation strategy development of the Impacts of Oil and Gas Activities on the Annual Allowable Cut for the Oil and Gas Commission (2003-2004). Developed and managed a Certificate of Restoration (COR) pilot project, a results-based system that gives incentives for reforesting oil and gas disturbances to a set standard, for the Oil and Gas Commission (2003-2004). Developed and managed a reclamation and First Nations Traditional Knowledge integration project for the Oil and Gas Commission (2003-2004). Conducted soil compaction testing, moisture testing and soil sample collection on a research project involving cattle grazing in aspen cut-blocks for Environment Canada (2003). Conducted soil compaction testing, moisture testing, proctor sampling, and soil sample collection for texture, nutrients, bulk density, water retention, etc. on a Ministry of Forests long term soil productivity research project (2002-2003). Involved in various Ministry of Forests soil rehabilitation research projects throughout British Columbia (2001-2004).
