Hobbies and Interests

I am Cree Métis on my mother's side and enjoy participating in and leading cultural events and activities and including indigenous content into curriculum. I am also very passionate about being an advocate for mental health and speaking up for my student's rights and needs. I have worked in a variety of school settings and have experience working in different subject areas. I am confident, energetic, and hardworking. I currently play Division 2 Women's soccer and have played at the college level. I also play volleyball and baseball and actively take on leadership roles within my experience areas in a school setting. I also love music - I have completed Level 4 of the Royal Conservatory of Music Program and  can play fluently by ear. I completed Master’s Capstone Project in Music Therapy!
