- Cared for cabins of overnight campers, aged 8-11, including children with autism and behavioural challenges, ensuring that everyone is including within camp-wide and cabin activities, while simultaneously focusing on emotional regulation.
- Helped provide community engagement through the form of leading / assisting with group activities, while encouraging team building.
- Took part in training sessions that were geared towards enhancing leadership abilities, within both camp and community settings.
- Provided an environment well suited for growth within the spectrum of overcoming pre-existing fears, helping to encourage and make kids feel loved, while organizing and running different elements found within the camp setting, some of these being, a multi-level high ropes course, zipline, and other elements found within a "challenge course" setting; doing so in a manner best suited to provide a high level of care and security for every participant.
Camp Qwanoes CIT Program, Foundational Leadership Program, 07/01/20 - 09/30/20
- Engaged into online sessions, in which there was a focus largely placed onto the growth and development of concepts such as, enhancing abilities to make personal growth, as well as strengthening pre-existing leadership capabilities.
- Served within the kitchen, preparing food for approximately 100 staff members, doing so within a timely manner as to follow the tight schedule provided by the executive director of the camp.
Camp Qwanoes Step-Out Program, Entry Level Leadership Program, 07/01/19 - 07/31/19
- Engaged into sessions focusing on both personal growth, and growth within the spectrum of leadership.
- Maintained proper standards of health and cleanliness within dining areas by completing various tasks such as washing and disinfecting surfaces including tables, walls, and counters.
- Provided clean dishes to approximately 550 individuals including, campers, staff and the kitchen team by utilizing commercial dishwashing equipment within a timely manner.
- Entered into multiple areas of service to help provide support, these areas included but are not limited to: dish room, maintenance, and events.
