I started working with my father and his business partner on weekends.

• Repaired cracks in drywall prior to painting them.
• Removed wallpaper prior to painting walls if necessary.
• Assisted with painting interior and exterior structures including baseboards, door frames and window frames.
• Maintained a clean and safe working environment by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of paint waste properly.
• Covered floors, furniture, fixtures, and other items with drop cloths before beginning a project.

Accumulated over 95 volunteer hours throughout the summer season in 2023. I worked in three different programs at the Fleming College location: Sports Camp, Arts Camp, and Junior Explorers Camp.

• Collaborated with other volunteers to ensure a safe environment for all campers.
• Encouraged positive social interaction between campers while promoting friendship among them.
• Assisted in the preparation and implementation of camp activities such as arts and crafts, sports, and outdoor games.
• Guided individual children through difficult emotions or situations that arose during their stay at the camp.
