• General knowledge on the operation of the West Falia oil centrifuge.

• General knowledge on the operation of the GE MS 9001E/Frame 9E gas turbine.

• Maintenance carried on the GE MS 9001E gas turbine. Changing of lube oil of the atomizing air booster, main fuel pump, changing of fuel check valves, replacing ofatomizing air pre-cooler, testing for leaks on the atomizing air pre-cooler.

• Changing of air filters of the frame 9E gas turbine.Removing of clogged filters, blowing the filter house with compressed air and fixing of new filters.

• Working in a confined space. Worked in a confined space under the packaging Electrical Electronic compartment (PEEC); scoping out low crude oil slugs deposited under the control unit for the frame 9E gas turbine.

• Work on the radiator of the GE frame 9E gas turbine generator. Replacing of worn-out gaskets and a broken flange.

• Worked on screw compressors. Changing lube oil, changing of the high pressure and the low pressure compressors, changing of the moisture traps, changing of filters etc.

• Worked on pumps (diaphragm, screw and centrifugal pumps). Changing of broken mechanical seals, worn-out diaphragms etc.
