Civic Center Detail, 2021-Present

Duties: I am responsible for the safety and security of all Civic Center buildings, city employees, and patrons within my area. I respond to calls for service, write crime and property reports, monitor Genetec camera systems, interface with other city agencies, and coordinating with the administration. I am also a Field Training Officer for this detail.

Jail Detail, 2017-2021

Duties: Maintain the care and custody of inmates, prepare inmate court packets, transport and supervise inmates during court and county transfers, and work with other law enforcement agencies and the court system. I was also a Jail Training Officer for this detail.

Marine Patrol Detail, 2009-2017

Duties: I was responsible for responding to calls for service, writing crime and incident reports, issuing citations and conducting arrests, conducting liveaboard investigations, and forging positive relationships with city stakeholders. I was a Field Training Officer and Terrorism Liaison Officer for this detail.

Public Information Officer/Collateral, 2025-Present

Duties: I am responsible for being on-call, monitoring the police department's social media and email, preparing and releasing news releases, answering media inquiries, and disseminating information in a precise and timely manner.

Peer Supporter/Collateral, 2024-present:

Duties: I am responsible for being on-call to assist with any incident where an employee may need support. Training includes advanced peer support seminars that include crisis and incident management training. I have also been trained in the use and promotion of the Cordico application.

• Community Services Officer, 2005-2008
• Duties: I worked in the Background Investigation Detail preparing documents and assisting in applicant testing. I also worked in the Detectives detail where I answered phones and prepared court packets. I worked in the Records Detail as well as the Front Desk, where I answered phones, wrote reports, processed fingerprints, safeguarded sensitive information, and ensured accurate filing systems. I was also trained as a Jail Matron, where I was responsible for the care and custody of inmates.
