  • Stepped into the charge nurse role between November 2024 and May 2025 following a clinical coordinator role vacancy, supporting clinic operations during the relocation to a new facility and EMR transition. In May 2025, officially stepped into the interim clinical coordinator position.
  • Spearheaded the transition from Profile EMR to Cerner CST; arranged and facilitated multiple training sessions for RNs and MOAs, supported staff in workflow adaptation, and acted as the CST point person for issue escalation and PSLS documentation.
  • Co-led operational setup of the new clinic in December 2024, including designing and implementing set up of clinical spaces (exam rooms, laboratory alcove, procedure room, eye exam room) in accordance with VCH infection control and clinical standards.
  • Reported clinical operations updates and issues to the manager to ensure effective communication and timely decision-making.
  • Identified the need for, defined, and implemented new RN roles and related workflows (Flow Nurse, RAZ Nurse, MOAs, Providers) in supervision of our manager, regional educator, and operational director to ensure alignment with VCH-led urgent and primary care centres.
