Technical Projects

Capstone Project
● In my Capstone project, I successfully implemented a multifaceted Jump Server, integrating essential services
such as Active Directory, DNS, and File Server. I configured remote access (RDP, SSH/Telnet), Cisco device
setups, and managed network tools like Veeam and Spiceworks. The project also encompassed the
administration of Linux and Windows systems and the deployment of Web servers in Azure cloud
This project involved a collaborative effort where I assumed the role of an IT consultant within a team environment. Our
focus was on effectively managing goals, achieving set objectives, and adhering to project timelines.

Network Security and Analysis
● Created a robust network security framework by configuring a firewall using IPTables and monitoring network
traffic using Wireshark on a CentOS system. After installing Centos on Vmware I set up IPTables to allow or block
specified traffic. With both IPTables and Wireshark operational, I conducted integrated testing. The purpose was
to ensure that the firewall rules were effectively blocking unwanted traffic, and to monitor how these rules
impacted network traffic.
● Wireshark allowed me to analyze the packet flow in real-time, verifying the effectiveness of the IPTables rules.

Python Powered Calculator
● Created a functional calculator using Python. The process involved planning basic and advanced features, coding
the logic for arithmetic operations and error handling, and developing a simple command-line interface. Thorough
testing was conducted to refine functionality and usability, enhancing my skills in Python programming and
practical application development.
