· Read blueprints, drawings, and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures

· Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements

· Set up components for welding according to specifications

· Operate angle grinders

· Align components using various tools

· Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, or overhead)

· Repair machinery and other components by welding in new components, crack repair, hard surfacing, and build up welding

· Inspect welded surfaces to discover flaws

• weld based on blueprints. Remove and repair unacceptable welds using gouging and grinder to meet quality guidelines • Used FLUX CORE and METAL CORE welding on structural supports and frames
