I've always been interested in the fine arts area since I was young. From painting to dancing to playing the piano, my passion for fine arts has driven me through my life. I have been dancing and playing piano for over 10 years now, and I have achieved a level of certificates from the authority in the past years. I am sure that dancing and music have been an unbreakable part of me.

My interest in drawing has driven me to choose art history as one of the majors that I study at the University of Toronto. I am fascinated by the ancient painting and architecture that's all over the world,  especially the East Asian artworks that I wish to learn more about, such as the artworks and cultures, history from different dynasties in Ancient China, and also in Japan, Korea, and more. I'd love to explore the history that is spoken through art. 

My mother tongue is Mandarin Chinese, and I came to Canada when I was 12 years old, That's when I started using English as my second language. I also learned some French and Japanese throughout my high school life, however, I'm still in the process of learning it. My level of French and Japanese is not quite fluent yet, I'd love to continue to learn those languages in the future.
