  • I work on the mechanical design of optimizing processes as well as engineering
  • Specifically, I work on Solidworks software to 3-D model any new products that will help improve any of the machines or any processes throughout
  • Afterwards, I start to fabricate the 3-D model whether it’s through sheet metal processing or delegate the tasks if they are through CNC machines
  • I also operate the lathe, drill press, and mill machines to achieve these results when necessary.

Spacex: Starlink production associate

  • Mechanical/electrical assembly of user terminal components, subassemblies, and final assembly according to instructions
  • I have worked on injection molding and have shadowed technicians with troubleshooting the machines and how to solve any issues to get the machines back up and running
  • I help develop and optimize production line stations and processes while ensuring product quality and putting safety as number one priority
  • I have also been point of contact (POC) for V3 actuator line and made sure it was running smoothly
  • I troubleshooted any hardware or software issues on the HMI
  • I made sure the line was producing at an optimal rate by prioritizing specific areas that reduced bottlenecks from occurring.

  • A NASA workforce development program that provides the opportunity to learn professional practices, protocols, and procedures that NASA uses in exploration along with the basics of a space mission’s development from industry professionals
  • I apply the skills that I learn in this academy by working in an assigned team of students to develop and mature a mission concept to the designated destination in the solar system and submit a team final technical report and presentation
  • In this academy, I have also acquired skill badges after completing training and skill module assessment tests.

  • The 3D Printed Aircraft Competition is an aircraft competition that challenges engineering student seniors to create a simple yet aerodynamically efficient aircraft
  • This 3D-printed aircraft will follow guidelines for the competition as well as consider material and manufacturing constraints
  • I am the material lead of my team meaning I am the member responsible for printing our parts on a 3-D printer
  • I have been involved with soldering some parts together as well as wiring the battery and motors to the receiver so that our servo motors are functioning correctly
  • Lastly, I have used SolidWorks to help design some parts of the plane such as the fuselage and make adjustments for assembly.
