I am told that your pinsetters are basically upgraded 82-70 machines. Any differences I am sure I would adapt to quickly. I can learn how to operate and repair scoring system as well. The scoring systems have come a VERY LONG way since my last bowling center work experience.

Head Mechanic

Brentwood Bowl
2000 - 2002
  • Building on my experiences gained at Albany Bowl, I became THE mechanic (Head Mechanic) at Brentwood Bowl. I basically taught myself the intricate workings of the 82-70 pinsetters. Pretty much knew those machines inside and out.
  • Diagnosed and repaired mechanical issues in bowling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conducted routine maintenance on machinery, enhancing reliability and reducing downtime. When you only have 16 lanes, you need all pinsetters to be working properly.
  • Managed inventory of tools and parts, ensuring availability for timely repairs and maintenance tasks.

Ramp Agent

United Airlines
1996 - 1999
  • Loading and unloading luggage/cargo on aircraft of varying makes and models either manually or container loader.
  • Assisted in loading and unloading cargo, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Efficiently operated ground service equipment, such as tugs and belt loaders, to facilitate smooth handling of baggage and cargo.
  • Loaded and unloaded luggage and freight and assisted crew and travelers with bags for 5+ daily flights.

Head Mechanic

Sea Bowl - Pacifica
1994 - 1996

Head Mechanic for Sea Bowl in Pacifica. Maintained and repaired Brunswick A and A2 pinsetters. Very little knowledge of the automatic scoring system - AS-80's I believe. I also stripped the lanes "by hand" using a dedicated lane stripping machine. Also responsible for maintaining the lane oiling machine.

Mechanic/pin Chaser

Albany Bowl
06.1991 - 1994

Learned how to work on 82-70 pinsetters. Trained by the Head Mechanic Tony Ledesma and his brother Eddie. Wasn't a "mechanic" in my eyes but learned the basics of how the pinsetters operated.

Thank You Tony!
