Community Involvement

Dedicated to serving the community and giving back.


A 20 year member of the Ladysmith Lions Club, having held several positions including director. Initiated and involved in many programs, including fundraising, community events, guide dog walk, youth and adult vision screening, Lions toy program, book libraries and annual Easter egg hunt just to name a few. Awarded the Judge Brian Stevenson Fellowship Award for service. The motto 'We Serve'.


Past 18 year founding member of the Ladysmith Madness 24 hr Relay team and now current and founding member of the Ladysmith Lions 49th Parallel Flyers. Both of these groups have worked and continue to work to help raise thousands of dollars to send children with disabilities to camp. The motto 'It's For the Kids'


A nine year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagle's Ladysmith. Currently the Auxiliary Vice President, also have held other positions such as Trustee and Chaplain. Have been involved in many aspects of the organization, fundraising and community events. The motto 'People Helping People'


Member and director of The Home Society, an umbrella organization for the Fraternal Order of Eagle's. Objectives are to maintain and support the the Eagle's Hall in Ladysmith. The hall has been a main staple of the Ladysmith community serving as a place to gather for many events.


Member of the Ladysmith Seniors Housing Society. An organization dedicated to supplying housing to low income seniors. Advocating independence, aging in place and safe housing.
