  • Initially joined the organization as a Firefighter when it was known as North York Fire Dept. Successfully competed candidate for Acting Captain Role. Appointed Captain and ensure that firefighting staff assigned adhere to well-defined Standard Operating Guidelines (SOGs).
  • In 2020 in the role as an Acting Platoon Chief investigated and created a report relating to conflict and discrepancies between personnel within a Fire Station.
  • In 2020 competed in an internal competition for the extra Role and its' associated responsibilities as an Acting Platoon Chief.
  • In 2017 won an internal competition for the extra role of Acting District Chief – Operations (Station 312, Yorkville).
  • As an Incident Commander, championed between 70 and 90 firefighters plus outside agencies in controlling and extinguishing 3 separate fires within 650 Parliament Street.
  • As Incident Commander, Atlantic Packaging in June 2018 managed 30+ Apparatus and Support Staff for a fire that was difficult to reach.
