Working within my full scope of practice as a licensed practical nurse at the Stollery Children's Hospital Emergency and the University of Alberta Emergency. My daily responsibilities include working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced department to provide safe, compassionate, family centered care to patients and families of a wide variety of medical needs. Working with patients and families of all ages requires time management with the ability to prioritize care needs as changes and challenges arise. I work to full scope, utilizing my skills and knowledge to provide the highest level of care to my patients and families of all ages and medical needs.

Working within my full scope of practice as a licensed practical nurse at the Stollery Children's Hospital. I work on the inpatient surgery unit as well the cardiology/ GI unit. My daily responsibilities include working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, compassionate, family centered care to patients and families of a wide variety of medical needs. Prioritizing and effectively managing patient care and an acute workload. Working with pediatric patients and families requires time management, the ability to prioritize care and safely adapt and manage challenges that arise throughout a shift.

Working within my full scope of practice as a licensed practical nurse at a high paced pediatrician office in Edmonton. My daily responsibilities include working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, compassionate, family centered care to patients and families of a wide variety of medical needs. Prioritizing and effectively managing patient care and a changing workload. Working with pediatric patients and families requires time management, the ability to prioritize care and safely adapt and manage challenges that arise throughout a shift. We facilitate patient care in the office and communicate the patients concerns with the Doctors. Other roles we have within the office include but are not limited to:

• Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care management strategies.
• Monitor, tracked, and conveyed important patient information to healthcare staff to help optimize treatment planning and care delivery.
• Deliver culturally competent care that respected diverse patient populations'' unique values, beliefs, and traditions.
• Monitor patient health conditions to report changes to assigned physician.
• Deliver emotional support to patients and families during challenging times.
