  • Provided technical support related to the laboratory services and management component of The Key Population Community HIV Services Action and Response 1
  • (KP- CARE 1)
  • Work closely with NiSRN Logistic Officers, 3PLs and health facilities to ensure that client samples for HIV VL, EID, CD4 and TB (from community and OSS service delivery points) are correctly collected, processed and transported and that results are returned in a timely manner
  • Coordinate Laboratory commodity supply, management and reporting for laboratory consumables, reagents, and RTKs to prevent stock-outs and eliminate wastages
  • To provide mentorship and supervision to strengthen performance and quality of Laboratory Services through laboratory Focal Service provider, Counselors testers for achieving linkage to optimized ART, client education and retention, and management of virologically unsuppressed clients
  • Providing mentoring and technical support on good clinical laboratory practice, application of Lab quality management systems, quality assurance and quality improvement
  • Providing technical support to the recency testing and self-testing being carried out in the facility (One stop shop in Oron)

  • Facilitating Sample collection for all suspected TB cases and the logging of sputum samples to Gene-Xpert Labs for quality TB diagnosis in conjunction with the NISRN and ensuring that all positive MTB results retrieved from the Gene-xpert Labs are immediately referred for further treatments
  • Acts as the TB focal person and provide referral for management of tuberculosis and multi-drug resistance TB cases among Key populations and Prison clients receiving ART services

  • As a resource person in the training of Lab personnel in the application of Laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
