  • Ran fluke's E-maintenance program. Program scheduled and organized PM's as well as work orders to be completed. Organized importance of each submission from colleagues.
  • Contacted ESA to start program for annual inspections of systems and made sure any safety concerns were dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Worked with Health and Safety rep to install templates with procedures, tags, and lock-outs to safely work on machinery.
  • Installed new machinery and tested machinery and worked hand in hand with Health and safety to make sure its safety to enter production.
  • Adjusted hours to benefit production. Hours adjusted so we can PM and repair machinery outside of production hours. This benefits both company and my employee's.
  • Raised standard of workmanship on projects. From small to large scale, quality of work was most important. Employee and operators were happier with effort put in, which raised moral both with operators and employee completing the work.
  • Stressed importance of 5s program. Explained it makes everyone proud of the work they do and were they work.
  • Worked with save on energy managers and implemented lighting savings program to convert lights, also looking into other savings. Cost payback was within one year.
  • Added telemetry unit to our Argon tanks we use for welding, found 4 leaks as chart made from adding telemetry unit was easier to spot, fixed 4 argon leaks saving company about 30 percent on each fill, around 6000k a year.
