Work History

Community Specialist

Lululemon
05.2023 - Current
  • I am responsible for executing store community strategy, which includes engaging with community through relationship building, events, and other activities including supporting product seeding and attending local studios.
  • I develop and sustain local key relationships with lululemon Ambassadors and other relevant and influential community partners providing synergistic values.

Accomplishments since in role:

  • Coordinates weekly lululemon run club (established for over 7 years), largest run club in Winnipeg. Hosted yoga summer series from July 30th - August 31st 2023. Hosted two successful run events; Global Running Day in June 2023 & Night Run in August 2023 ( 300+ runners). Planned & executed an extremely successful Winnipeg Polo Park New Store Opening Community Strategy which was rich in ambassador, local business, & simply celebrating the community we have all built throughout the community we have all built throughout the years. The strategy kicked off with a large ambassador driven event called "Friday Night Lights" followed by a special centre court movement series, " Find Your Center" where our current and pipeline ambassadors hosted classes leading up/the weeks following our New Store Opening. Being able to successfully balance ambassador relationships whether they are past , current, & pipeline while also executing events, monthly product seeding strategy, & future planning.
  • Taking my role to the next level by being asked to be apart of the Farm Team | Membership x Community Toolkit rollout.

Key Leader - Community Pillar

Lululemon
07.2018 - 05.2023
  • Responsible for ensuring all guests receive quality in-store experience. I do this by overseeing or providing technical product education that articulates the values of our product and brand to meet the unique needs of each guest.
  • I am apart of the store leadership team, responsible for driving store performance on the floor through guest experience and team achievement of daily sales targets.
  • I provide input to team members performance evaluations, recommendations into store hiring decisions, and act as Supervisor on Duty when leading the floor.
  • Community Pillar: before the Community Specialist Role was created with-in stores I was taking on this area of the business and investing the time/strategy to create/maintain a successful execution throughout the years.

Achievements when in role:

  • Bring able to take on contract Assistant Manager position within this time frame (outlet collections Oct - Jan 2018/19). During COVID times (store closures) with support of my Store Manager, was able to maintain ambassador relationships, host zoom sweat dates, & build relationships with pipeline ambassadors to the point where we didn't have to miss a beat with onboarding post pandemic. Pitching, planning, & executing CIF for beloved ambassador, Junel Malapad. Working closely with CFL & CIF lead was inspiring to see what is possible within this area of our company.

Assistant Store Manager

Lululmeon
07.2017 - 07.2018
  • essential part of the store leadership team, impacting team members and guest experience every day.
  • responsible for leading and coaching team members, holding the team accountable to results, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience in the store.
  • also responsible for accomplishing administrative and operations focus activities, including floor management, store budgets and scheduling.

Accomplishments when in role:

  • During my short time in the AUS/NZ market I was able to dive into many areas of the business but the most impactful was through community strategy. Cultivating relationships with the store teams, current ambassador bench, & onboarding new ambassador bench. Starting the first run club in Auckland at the Ponsonby location. Leading the collaboration with all 3 Auckland stores to host a large IDY event & continuing the city wide collaboration by combining our "Here to be" funds to support a relationship with The Red Cross (mental health area of the foundation). Lastly, being able to work with my store to inspire them into what is possible within community. Taking their passions/ideas and supporting them in bringing them to life.
  • Non-community related acknowledgement: Hosting a number of in-person & zoom EDU & KL trainings. When RFID was rolled out in AUS/NZ, I was selected to the be the NZ wide trainer. Training all SMs in NZ to use/implement RFID within their respective stores. Such a key training moment for the market and had so much fun doing it!
