Ensuring project close-out and lessons-learned reviews are completed. Participating in the audit of completed projects to evaluate whether identified objectives and benefits have been realized. Excellent verbal and written communication skills proven by presenting and writing construction project update reports for a production team of at least 50 people. Performed calculations based on CSA and OBC standards to ensure safe and appropriate improvements for project designs. 10+ years of experience working in the research sector of the construction industry with strong knowledge of design processes, client experience and private contractor. Strong project coordination and administration skills as demonstrated by managing and supporting 4+ municipal projects on developing roads, elevated highways, and bridges. 20+ years of combined experience in system designs and infrastructure engineering; solid understanding of structural engineering theories, principles, specifications and standards. 10+ years of experience in designing, manufacturing, and installing heavy steel structures, welded, and bolted connections. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills proven through the interaction with interdisciplinary professionals, clients, and diverse student populations. Capable in problem solving, leadership, improvising, and cooperation in various civil /structural/ construction projects.
